Reservation Policies

Please review our reservation policies before booking your stay at the Backwoods Cabins.

Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-ins and late check-outs may be available if arranged in advance with staff. Unapproved late check-outs may be subject to additional fees.;

Deposits and Payments

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking and will be charged to the Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover card provided. The remaining balance is due three days prior to check-in and will be charged to the card on file unless other payment arrangements have been made.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations canceled 14 days or more before arrival are eligible for a full refund of all paid prepayments. Reservations canceled within 14 days of arrival are nonrefundable.

Occupancy

Each cabin accommodates up to four guests. Each cabin features a king-size bed in the bedroom and a queen-size pull-out couch in the living room. Please note: the bathroom is accessible only through the bedroom.

Pet Policy

Dog-friendly cabins include The Wind Surfer’s, Camper’s, and Forager’s. The pet fee is $75 per stay for the first dog and $25 per stay for one additional dog. Pets are not allowed in cabins that are not designated pet-friendly. Bringing a pet into a non-pet-friendly cabin will result in a $250 penalty fee. This policy helps us maintain allergen-free cabins for guests with sensitivities. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pet, including damage to property, additional cleaning, treatment of injuries, and lost revenue related to repairs or downtime.

For the comfort of all guests

Pets must remain on a leash at all times when outside the cabin
Pets may not be left unattended in the cabin
Guests must clean up after their pets both indoors and outdoors;

Smoking Policy

Backwoods Cabins is a non-smoking property. Smoking, vaping, or the use of pipes inside the cabins will result in a $500 fee charged to the card on file.

Damage Policy

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property during their stay and may be charged for repair or replacement costs as needed.

Fireplace Safety

Gas fireplaces and surrounding surfaces may become hot during use. Guests assume all risks and liability while using the fireplace.
